Recipe by Margaritaville Cookbook
1 chopped onion | 1 -16 oz. can tomato sauce |
1/2 chopped sweet pepper | 1 small can tomato paste |
3 crushed cloves of garlic | Hot pepper flakes |
Oregano | Salt and pepper |
1/2 C. olive oil | 6-8 crawfish tails |
Brown onion, sweet pepper, garlic and oregano in oil until golden. Add tomato sauce,
past, hot pepper flakes, salt and pepper; bring to a boil. Cut raw crawfish tails into
bite-size pieces and add to sauce. Reduce heat, cover and cook for about 1 hour.
May be served over rice. Can also be made with raw shrimp.
