1 sm can tomato sauce
garlic, salt and pepper to taste
1 md sliced onion
a few sliced green peppers
soup bone ( I use a small pack beef stew meat)
I brown meat, onions and bell pepper, the add water, salt, black pepper and tomato sauce
Mean while I slice plantains about 1/2 in and fried them till golden , when meat is tender , I flatten plantains in brown paper bag and put into pot. Sauce will thicken same when plantains are added.
I feel the secret to tender meat is brown when frozen.
