Buttered Hot Rum

 

8 ounces light Jamaican Rum

2 teaspoons butter

4 cups hot apple juice or cider

4 sticks Cinnamon

4 halved orange slices for garnish

Fresh grated nutmeg for garnish

 

            Place a stick of cinnamon in each of 4 heavy mugs. To each mug add 2 ounces rum and ½ teaspoon butter. Top with apple juice or cider. Stir well. Grate a little nutmeg on top. Garnish each with half an orange slice.
